Cuando éramos pequeños, a todos nos gustaban las camas elásticas, jugábamos por diversión sin saber los muchos beneficios que aportan. El body jump o jumping se puso de moda en muchos gimnasios, y hoy queremos hablar porque deberías probarlo.

¿Qué es saltar

?

El jumping es un ejercicio cardiovascular diseñado para quemar calorías y perder peso. Se trata de hacer diferentes movimientos al ritmo de la música, saltando sobre una cama elástica. Para que los movimientos sean más amplios, algunos de ellos tienen una barra en la que podemos agarrarnos el uno al otro.

Se estima que diez minutos de salto equivalen a media hora de correr y pueden quemar unas 300 calorías en este período. Así, una hora de salto puede robarnos casi mil calorías. ¿Puedes imaginarlo?

Beneficios de las camas elásticas

Como mencionamos en el párrafo anterior, uno de los principales beneficios es que es posible quemar muchas calorías, muchas más incluso que con otros deportes cardiovasculares. Y hay muchos otros beneficios que afectan nuestra salud y apariencia…:

Mejora el flujo de oxígeno

Si pensamos que, cuando saltamos, estamos moviendo todo nuestro cuerpo, esto hace que el oxígeno se mueva más rápido y por lo tanto llegue a los tejidos más fácilmente.

Mejor circulación

La circulación y el flujo sanguíneo mejoran y son más fluidos gracias al hecho de que mientras saltas, al estar en el aire, tu masa corporal disminuye y permite que los fluidos se redistribuyan.

Activa el sistema linfático

Es más o menos lo mismo que el beneficio anterior. Al saltar y caer repetidamente, el sistema linfático se activa, y sabemos que esto es esencial para el buen funcionamiento de nuestro cuerpo, así como de nuestro sistema inmunológico.

Reduce los niveles de glucosa

Las camas elásticas son ideales para personas con diabetes o problemas de aumento de glucosa, ya que, al ser un ejercicio de movimientos repetidos en el que aumenta la frecuencia cardiaca y se queman muchas calorías, el azúcar también se utiliza como fuente de energía y por tanto se elimina del organismo.

Tonifica

Ya sabes cuánto insistimos en que para tonificar, se necesitan las pesas, y aunque todavía es el caso, este ejercicio en camas elásticas es muy bueno para tonificar los músculos de las piernas, porque el esfuerzo que hacen al caer y empujar para subir de nuevo hará que los músculos de esta zona queden definidos.

Activa el metabolismo

Usted ya sabe que los ejercicios que nos hacen sudar, como en este caso, activan el metabolismo, y un metabolismo rápido resulta en una mayor quema de grasa y pérdida de peso.

Ayuda con el estrés y la depresión

¿Qué es mejor para el estrés y la tristeza que divertirse? Además de practicar un deporte, que es ideal para ambas condiciones emocionales, saltar a una cama elástica es muy divertido, lo que se reflejará en un mejor estado de ánimo.

Impacto más bajo

Además de que los saltos en camas elásticas son tres veces más eficientes que si se corre al mismo tiempo, las articulaciones no sufren ningún impacto.

Correr puede perjudicar a las personas con problemas de rodilla o cadera, mientras que saltar es un deporte ideal para ellos porque, al caer sobre algo blando, no hay impacto.

Balance

Seamos realistas, no es fácil saltar tratando de hacer los movimientos que el entrenador nos pide. Pero cálmese, sea paciente y siga insistiendo, porque esto llevará a una mejora en el equilibrio, y cuanto más practique, más lo notará.
