Hablemos de la importancia del descanso hoy. Sabemos que te gustan los deportes, así como comer sano, y te felicitamos por ello. Pero a veces hay una cosa que podemos dejar de lado sin darnos cuenta.

Y el descanso a menudo se deja de lado. Esto ya nos ha ocurrido a todos nosotros. La buena noticia es que siempre es posible cambiar los hábitos, porque es una cuestión de disciplina y nosotros, como atletas, sabemos mucho al respecto.

Por qué es difícil descansar lo suficiente

Seguramente usted oyó o dijo en más de una ocasión : » 24 horas al día no son suficientes». No entendemos por qué, pero así es como le pasa a todo el mundo.

Pensamos, por ejemplo, en cómo nuestras madres y abuelas lavaban su ropa a mano, cocinaban platos muy elaborados, cosían y hacían mil cosas en un solo día, y mientras tanto, ¿qué hacemos?

No tenemos tiempo para nada, aunque tenemos tecnología en todas partes.  Los tiempos han cambiado, nuestro ritmo es estresante, y cuando establecemos prioridades, solemos olvidar una de las más importantes: el descanso.

El trabajo, la familia y el deporte suelen ocupar todo el día. De hecho, a menudo parece que, al final del día, no hay tiempo para realizar estas tareas, y terminamos dejando de lado el resto.

Esto debería cambiar porque la importancia del descanso es mayor que cualquier otra necesidad en nuestras vidas.

La importancia del descanso

Una vez que hayamos visto las razones por las que no descansamos lo suficiente, veremos las razones por las que deberíamos descansar lo suficiente para cambiar nuestros hábitos y, en consecuencia, mejorar ese aspecto.

Potencia

El resto es el intervalo que nuestro cuerpo necesita para recuperar fuerzas. Es importante permitir que todos nuestros órganos descansen, así como recuperar toda la energía gastada. Se puede decir que después de un día agotador, nuestro cuerpo necesita descansar para comenzar un nuevo día lleno de actividades.

Cuando el descanso es insuficiente día tras día, tu energía será cada vez menor y esto puede incluso llevarte a enfermarte.

Estrés

El estrés está a la orden del día. Y una de las principales causas por las que las personas la padecen se debe a la falta de descanso.

El estrés, además de ser una enfermedad en sí misma, puede causar otros síntomas no muy agradables en su cuerpo como pérdida de cabello, sarpullidos, fatiga extrema, entre otros.

Mal humor

Cuando no descansamos lo suficiente, nuestro estado de ánimo se ve afectado, y por lo tanto experimentamos cambios repentinos de humor que nos llevarán a tener malas relaciones en nuestro trabajo, con nuestra familia y amigos, y por lo tanto no seremos felices.

Veremos la vida con negatividad; también tendremos problemas en nuestras relaciones personales, algo que ciertamente no es beneficioso para nuestra salud física o nuestra salud emocional.

Engorde

No dormir o descansar lo suficiente crea un desequilibrio hormonal y metabólico que hará que usted aumente de peso. No importa cuánto intente mantenerse saludable practicando deportes y manteniendo la línea, todo esto no servirá de nada hasta que descanse lo suficiente.

Como puedes ver, estar sano implica hacer deporte, comer sano y descansar. Ninguno de los dos es más importante que el otro. Los tres también son necesarios para estar sanos. Es probable que tenga que hacer un esfuerzo para cambiar sus hábitos, pero sin duda valdrá la pena.
